What brought you here?

What are you doing here? Reading a blog, and sometime writing too. What really brought you here? May be the old school theory that "we are a social animal". But what really it is that makes us a social animal. "It is human nature" what an excuse!!! May be the fact that we can't tolerate our own faces for long. May be because we can't hear ourselves for too long. Another terrible excuse!!! Because had that been the reason then what about the blind and the deaf people? Don't they like to be in the society?

Why do we live in society? Is it just because of human nature? Or is there any reason for that? Yes there is a definite reason for that. What reason? Reason is IMPULSE. Impulse is the push or force that is required for acceleration in our life. You can understand impulse better in form of inspiration, jealousy, impression, affection, attraction and other forms of emotions. Every person is a powerhouse but he needs some sort of impulse to move. Bottom line is "for every soul impulse must come through another soul" says Swami Vivekanand.

We can experience impulse in our daily lives, when we see our favorite players playing good; we also try to play like them when we are in playground. Didn't you work on your singing after watching those Indian Idol episodes? Recall that anger when you saw few bad, strong and powerful people behaving roughly with a weak person. And how can you forget that day when a colleague of yours performed better than you in the mid term examinations and you tried to your limits to make the scores level in the final examinations? Say it inspiration, say it anger, say it jealousy or whatever; thing is that, these things make people work, make people create something new, make people do exactly for what they are here. No matter in what form it acts on you; it makes you move, it makes you think, it shakes you. This is that very impulse. And that impulse is the very reason why man is a social animal.
